Spring City’s quaint, newly renovated Country Inn offers five lovely rooms, a large family room and kitchen. It is just minutes from Watts Bar Lake and midway between Chattanooga and Knoxville. Relax and appreciate the feeling of a romantic and train-connected bygone era, a time when life moved more slowly. The Whistle Stop Inn has welcomed Watts Bar workers and their families and others passing through  since opening in 2009.  Guests become part of the Whistle Stop family and return again and again. Several have stayed with us as their home-away-from-home since the doors opened in 2009. Rooms stay full year round. Tuesdays are family dinner nights and Sundays arrive with apple pie, peach cobbler and other sweet treats homemade by our train depot innkeeper, "Mama Joy".  Oh yes, occasionally we enjoy fried green tomatoes!
